Commitment to Accessibility
In order to improve equitability, we provide as many alternative navigation solutions and happy experiences to my business website and customers as possible.
This is achievable by meeting or exceeding the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA).
As an accessibility advocates, we want companies and nonprofits to see that equitability and accessibility is possible and preferable.
Example of implemented accessible universal design:
Heading and button definitions for screen reader users to understand important wayfinding and information
Clear hyperlinks for easy access to additional information connected to the highlighted word
Strategically added purposeful alt tag image descriptions for screen reader users to understand and enjoy images
Created a design grid that will place content in grouped areas and sequential order for easy scrolling with magnification
Did not juxtaposed the size of copy too extreme so that magnification and keyboard only users do not find it intense
Used high color contrast for the visually impaired and color blind to limit eye strain
